[Share Your World] Thanksgiving

I am thrilled to participate, especially, in the spirit of Thanksgiving. Also, I want to join in the community life in the blogosphere.

As a parent, I also want my daughter to learn community living and be herself, a great member of the society.

So, here we go! It’s fun, you might want to join, too, if not yet.

This is the “Share Your World” activity from Melanie’s Sparks from a Combustible Mind

She does have very interesting posts so if haven’t yet, it would be great to visit her blog site, link is above. Instructions are there as well, should you wish to participate.

Are you an Early to bed, early to rise person, a night owl and day sleeper/dozer, or an ‘I’ll sleep when I’m dead’ person?

I’ll sleep when I’m dead and generally a dozer, if that makes sense!

What are some misconceptions about your hobby, should you have a hobby?

I crochet however up to now, my husband and a few others, still refer to it as knitting instead of crocheting. For those who are also confused. While they both use yarns and tools, crochet uses a hook, which knit uses two sticks. In crochet you create knots, in knitting you create a series of loops.

A penguin walks through the door right now wearing a sombrero. What does he say and why is he here?

Boy, it is hot outside! Do you have ice-cold water? I’m pretty sure my daughter sent him to pick me up from the blogosphere. I should be thankful she didn’t send dinosaurs this time.

Aliens have landed…do they come in peace?

They came in peace and revealed that all the 7 other planets have living creatures with civil societies and cities far more advanced that planet Earth’s and placed an ad that if we wanted to try out for job vacancies there, to apply via extra sensory perception.

What are you really, incredibly thankful for this week?

I am thankful for my family. They are God’s gifts and blessing that I am thankful for each and every day.

Thank you very much for dropping by and I’m really interested to see your thoughts on these questions. 🙂

Emile believes that true employee engagement rests on the pillars of basic human needs and in ensuring that process and leadership basics are in place - the employee engagement imperatives. She hopes to contribute to making this world a better place for all of us now and the next generation. She loves sipping tea, conversations, reading and writing. The latter gave birth to two blogs - Purposeful Parenting Journey (purposefulparentingjourney.com) and Engagement Imperative (engagementimperative.com).
